With less than two weeks left in San Diego, we are doing our best to soak up the last little bit of fun we can while also getting everything ready for our move.
This week was a busy one and we accomplished a lot!
While Emerson was at school, Adelyn and I met up with some friends for a kids concert and then hung out at the mall for a couple of hours. She used her birthday money from GG for a new baby and we grabbed some lunch. It's always fun getting one on one time with each kid.
We had dental appointments for both girls. Emerson has been quite a few times and actually likes going but I was a little nervous for Adelyn. She went once right after she turned one and she was terrified. She pretty much cried the whole time. Luckily, this appointment went MUCH better. She was very cooperative and got a great report.
Both girls were cavity free!! Woohoo!
After that we headed to a fun indoor play place to meet up with some friends. The girls played non-stop for about three hours and I got to snuggle a tiny baby. It was glorious.
Adelyn was up at the crack of dawn (as usual) and it had to be documented with an awesome selfie.
The train table was a big hit for our transportation loving girl.
It was an insanely beautiful day in San Diego and we spent over 4 hours at the park. We had so much fun I completely failed to document it with a single picture. Oh well!
Adelyn got all dolled up for her two year check up.
Adelyn did awesome at her check up and didn't even cry during her shots. She's healthy and thriving. We are so thankful for our two healthy girls!!
Emerson was invited to a PJ mask birthday party for one of her classmates. Jesse decided to take Adelyn to his work to see the airplanes while Ems and I went to the party. I think both girls had a blast.
It's raining cats and dogs here today and also a bit chilly. That definitely calls for hanging out at home, watching movies, and tons of cuddles. It's hard to believe this is our LAST week in this house. We've done pretty much everything we need to do for the move except pack our suitcases. I feel like it's been a pretty easy process so far. This is our 5th move in 6 years so I kind of feel like we are experts at this point. Let's just hope it goes as smoothly as it has in the past.
