An Update

This poor little blog sure has been neglected. There was a time in my life where I couldn't even begin to imagine not writing a post for a month. Of course that was before I had two kids! ;) Life is just busy these days and unfortunately the old blog is the first thing that gets pushed to the side.  I'm so behind and I don't know if I'll ever catch up. I haven't even blogged about my sweet girl's third birthday and Adelyn didn't get a 5 or 6 month update! Hopefully one of these days I'll start tackling those old posts but in the meantime I just wanted to drop in for a little update. This is all out of order and somewhat random but so is our life! :)

-We are doing well! I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of two kids (that took a while, huh?) and feeling really good about life in general. I love our church. I love my friends. Emerson is loving preschool. I really have no complaints.

-After over a year of contemplating, I finally took the plunge and became an Independent Consultant with Thirty-One. I am LOVING it. I never thought I was cut out for that sort of thing but my launch party went well and I have 8 parties booked for August. I can't believe I'm getting paid to do something that is so much fun! You can check out my website by clicking the banner below.

-Adelyn is all over the place. She is crawling, pulling up, cruising furniture and even climbing stairs. She keeps me busy and I feel pretty confident that she will be walking sooner rather than later.

-Emerson is growing up right before our eyes. She has become a non-stop talker and asks a million questions a day. Her smile lights up a room and her excitement about life is contagious. She's something else.

-We're having family pictures and Adelyn's 6 month pictures taken at the beach on Sunday. I ordered THE cutest outfits for the girls. Here's a little sneak peek at E's "twirly" dress.

And my oh so talented mom made an adorable bonnet for Adelyn. I cannot wait to see my chubby little munchkin on the beach in her bonnet.

Now I just need to find something for Jesse and I to wear...

I have SO many pictures to share and lots to catch up on so hopefully it won't be another month before I'm back. My goal is actually tomorrow. Don't give up on this little blog... :)

A Trip to the Lake

We were beyond blessed to spend several days at the lake with our families. The girls had a blast and we enjoyed spending time with everyone. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

We thought the baby pool would keep her contained. Haha!! Nothing will keep this little girl down!
