L Fam Weekly: May 31-June 6

6.09.2014

Another week has gone by in the blink of an eye. I hate that these are the only posts I'm getting done but at least they are better than nothing! :) Anyway, here's a glimpse of our week.

The weekend was kind of a blur. I volunteered with our church ice cream truck on Saturday afternoon and we had a barbecue that evening. I really didn't get many pictures except for these few randoms.

Emerson has school on Monday and she begged me to stay and take a nap. We deduced to give it a trial run. She was as happy as pie when I dropped her off.

Not quite as much when I picked her up. The teacher she said she finally fell asleep about 10 minutes before it was time to be picked up. She was ok when I got there but once we got to the car she pretty much lost it.  I guess she just wasn't ready to be away from momma that long. Maybe we'll try again next year! :)
Meanwhile, sister thinks she's a big girl and wants to crawl! She's got the low crawl down and I have a feeling she'll be crawling on all four very soon. Why must they grow so fast?

I found a new Vanilla Shakeology recipe that I am in LOVE with.  If you want to try it for yourself I do have samples for sale! :)

We had a pool day with our friend Rylee on Tuesday.

And then the girls "played" together. It's moments like this that I dreamt about when I found out we were having another girl. It's such a blessing watching their relationship blossom.

We went grocery shopping on Wednesday and Em's reward for being a good listener was a visit to the pet store next door. Also known as the "free zoo." She loved it!

I've been busy making shirts! It feels good to be back in the swing of things.

Adelyn has been busy shopping. She's a sucker for a good deal. ;)

She's a big fan of Target, too.

On Friday night we went over to a friends to play and it went really well until it was time to leave. Our little spitfire was not a happy camper and she made sure the whole neighborhood knew it. This picture just kills me... her dirty face, shoe falling off and major attitude. I may not have been laughing in the moment but I know I'll look back at this and laugh one of these days. I can only imagine the teenage years. ;)

I love reading your posts because it gives me insight on what it will be like with my two girls! They are both adorable and little bit is growing like a weed! :)

Love this post. The pictures are all to cute. Adelyn is going to be crawling before we see her. So sweet to see Emerson and Adelyn playing together.
