Easter Eggs and Bunny Trails

5.05.2014

We didn't do anything too extravagant for Easter this year. There were quite a few community events and Easter egg hunts but after braving the crowds last year we decided to just lay low. On Saturday we spent a couple of hours dyeing Easter eggs. Emerson really got into this year so it was tons of fun.

Jesse bought her a decorating kit with sparkly stickers and markers. She loved it and she was so proud of how her eggs turned out.

She was so proud of her eggs and kept taking them out of the refrigerator to look at them. Holidays just get more and more fun each year because of her sweet enthusiasm.

On Sunday morning, the Easter bunny paid a visit. He decided that Adelyn didn't need a basket this year but he promised she'll have an awesome one next year! ;) Emerson got a few goodies and a trail of Easter shapes to lead her to her basket.

I love that the first thing she did when she came downstairs was to run over and say hi to her baby sister. It makes me so happy to see the bond that they are forming. I couldn't ask for anything more!

Our sweet girl seemed pretty happy with her Easter goodies!! That sweet smile will never get old.

How fun! I love watching my girls interact. It is the best thing in the world! Where did you find that smock that she was wearing to dye Easter eggs in? We need one!

A tool set and new dresses, the Easter bunny did good! And I love your dress too, it's so cute and looks great on you! We still have way too much Easter candy lying around at our house. I think it's about time to throw it away!
