I have so many little things to talk about but not enough to fill up an individual post, so I thought I'd just cram it all together in a random post. Here goes:
-I think E is going through a growth spurt. She has been going to be around 7:30-8:00 and sleeping until 9:00 the next morning. Then she takes her 3 hour nap in the afternoon! It's crazy but I'm not complaining!
-On Monday night E was jumping on her PB chair (I told you that thing was dangerous) and Jesse ran over to get her down but he didn't make it in time before she fell off. She didn't hit her head but she hit her foot somehow. She immediately started crying and wouldn't put any weight on it. We gave her some tylenol and put her to bed with plans to check it in the morning. Yesterday morning she was still doing the same thing. She would try to walk and after about two steps she would cry and say it hurt and sit down. I took her to the clinic and they checked it out. Towards the end she started putting more weight on it but she's still walking on it funny. They told us to ice it and give her motrin and then to check it again this morning and give them a call. I'm praying that it's okay today. The last thing we need is E in a boot or cast for our move home! Can you imagine?
-Speaking of- we have LESS than 30 days until our move!! Eeek! The movers should be coming in about two weeks so I am in the process of separating our stuff. We get an express shipment which will come by air and then a regular shipment for the rest of our stuff. It's hard to decide what to bring in the express shipment. Right now I'm thinking E's crib and all of her toys. We'll also bring most of our clothes, our bed linens, and some of our kitchen stuff.
-I finally updated my Fitness page at the top. I'm using it to track my 2013 workouts (inspired by Alison) so I can make sure I reach my goal of 225 workouts. I'm on Week 11 of Body Revolution and I have absolutely loved it. I am so sad that it's about to come to an end and I'm trying to decide what I want to do next. I really like doing programs with some kind of schedule because it keeps me on track. Any suggestions?
-Last week I decided to get a haircut. I was loving having long hair but it was really dry and damaged so I wanted to get all of the dead ends cut off. She took off about 3.5 inches and now it's a long bob. I love it! It feels so much better! But then I made the mistake of getting hi-lites. I don't know what look I was hoping for but they are definitely not what I had in mind. The first few days I felt like crying because I hated them so much. I guess I'm finally getting used to them because I don't hate them quite as much but I still don't like them. I plan on going dark again as soon as possible. I hate when I do stupid stuff like that! What a waste of money and time! :(
-I have become a coconut oil convert. I've been using it as a facial cleanser/moisturizer and it is amazing! My skin looks better than it has in a long time! I've also been putting it on my hair once a week and leaving for an hour or so before rinsing. My hair is so much softer and shinier because of it. If you haven't tried you definitely should!
-I feel like every time I open blogger, Facebook, or Instagram someone is announcing their pregnancy- especially second pregnancies! Now y'all know we've been thinking about baby #2 for a while now, but we still don't know about deployment schedules and all of that fun stuff so we are waiting until we move to make any decisions. I'm completely content getting lots of one on one time with E but I have to admit that seeing all these pregnancy announcements kicks my baby fever up a notch. I feel like I am the only one that is not pregnant with a second baby!
And of course, E would be such an awesome big sister!
