Promoted

Yesterday was Jesse's promotion ceremony and Emerson and I were honored to be there to support our number one guy! I just wanted to share a few pictures from the big day.

It's tradition for the Marine to choose who he would like to pin on his new rank. Jesse chose the ambassador and me. Although it wasn't my first time doing it, it's been a while, so I have to admit that I was pretty nervous.  Luckily it went off without a hitch.

And, of course, we couldn't leave without getting in a family picture. It was so funny because Emerson just kept grabbing Jesse and kissing his face. I don't think we got a single picture with her looking because she was too busy kissing Daddy.

When he turned to look at her, she smacked him right on the lips. 

It was a great day and Emerson and I are both so proud of Jesse. He has earned this promotion and I know he will do great things in his new rank!
