This Weekend....

11.12.2012

...I completed my first half-marathon and I survived! You can read the full recap here.
...we spent quite a bit of time in our pajamas.
...we celebrated the Marine Corps' 237th birthday with a barbecue and pool party.

...we ate ice cream cake in honor of said birthday

...we walked around the neighborhood too many times to count

...Jesse made tempura shrimp and it was seriously the best shrimp I have ever had. Yum!

...I started making a Christmas list for Emerson. Shopping commences today! :)

...we watched Tangled. We broke it up into several different sessions. Emerson loved the singing parts the best.

... I finished my favorite embroidery projects to date.

...we had a family breakfast date.

....we took Emerson to the indoor amusement park at the mall.

She rode the carousel for the first time and LOVED it. Just seeing the joy on her face was enough to make me want to cry.
Every time they came around she would wave at me and yell, " I love you." It was the cutest thing ever!
And that was about it. After the fun on Friday I was hoping for a low-key weekend and that's exactly what we had!

What did you do this weekend?
