One of the best parts about birthdays is presents, don't you agree? :) The truth is, Jesse and I rarely buy gifts for each other these days. We typically buy things as we need them throughout the year and we'd much prefer to spoil little E. And even though I technically already got my anniversary/birthday/Christmas present for the next two years (my embroidery machine) I still have a few things that I've had my eye on. And since I'm not counting on getting any of them for my birthday, I'll just add them to my Christmas list. That's the beauty of having a December birthday. :)

Love your list, especially the scarf! I'm definitely wanting a new iPhone case, plus some pajamas, ear muffs for running, a radio for the office, and I'm sure a thousand or so other things I've dropped hints about.
