-We went to the beach club for the last time this weekend. Our membership is now expired so we wanted to get in one last trip. One of our friends had a puddle jumper life jacket for their little girl so I decided to try it on E. She has gotten to the point where she doesn't want to sit in a float anymore and she likes being in the big pool so I wanted to see how she liked it. I think the pictures speak for themselves.
I'm sure you can guess what I did as soon as we got home. Hint: Amazon One-Click! :)
-My James Bible study is going really well. Emerson did great in the nursery again last week and I really love the small group I've been placed with. The daily homework is pretty intense and time consuming but I am already learning so much. I'm praying that God will change me through this study!
-I have been trying to finish backing up all of my pictures and video online (I still have thousands to go!) but in the meantime I have loved looking back and reminiscing about my sweet E. I am so very thankful for the pictures and videos because, honestly, it's hard for me to remember her being so little.
This is my baby almost exactly one year ago:
-You guys, I have a confession. I haven't run in almost two weeks. My half-marathon is less than 6 weeks away and I've practically given up. I really don't know if I can do it at this point but I don't want to be a quitter. I need some motivation, stat!
-We finished Season 2 of Suits this weekend. It was SO good and I can't wait until January when it comes back on! It's probably one of my favorite shows I've ever watched. We're thinking about starting Homeland next. Anyone watch it?
- Today is Jesse's birthday! E painted him a little present last night and I think it turned out so cute. I tried to get her to finger paint but she couldn't stand having the blue paint on her fingers so we had to use a brush instead.
Either way, I think she's pretty proud of the finished product.
And on that note,
Happy Birthday babe!Emerson and I are the luckiest girls in the world and we love you more than words could ever say!
