Monday Rambling

I don't have anything too exciting to talk about for Weekend Rewind so I've decided to skip it this week. Instead, here's a few random thoughts and a little bit of what we've been up to.

-We went to the beach club for the last time this weekend. Our membership is now expired so we wanted to get in one last trip. One of our friends had a puddle jumper life jacket for their little girl so I decided to try it on E. She has gotten to the point where she doesn't want to sit in a float anymore and she likes being in the big pool so I wanted to see how she liked it. I think the pictures speak for themselves.

I'm sure you can guess what I did as soon as we got home. Hint: Amazon One-Click! :)

-My James Bible study is going really well. Emerson did great in the nursery again last week and I really love the small group I've been placed with. The daily homework is pretty intense and time consuming but I am already learning so much. I'm praying that God will change me through this study!

-I have been trying to finish backing up all of my pictures and video online (I still have thousands to go!) but in the meantime I have loved looking back and reminiscing about my sweet E. I am so very thankful for the pictures and videos because, honestly, it's hard for me to remember her being so little.

This is my baby almost exactly one year ago:
-Wow! What a difference a year makes! Be prepared for more comparison pics with the upcoming holidays! ;)

-You guys, I have a confession. I haven't run in almost two weeks. My half-marathon is less than 6 weeks away and I've practically given up. I really don't know if I can do it at this point but I don't want to be a quitter. I need some motivation, stat!

-We finished Season 2 of Suits this weekend. It was SO good and I can't wait until January when it comes back on! It's probably one of my favorite shows I've ever watched.  We're thinking about starting Homeland next. Anyone watch it?

- Today is Jesse's birthday! E painted him a little present last night and I think it turned out so cute. I tried to get her to finger paint but she couldn't stand having the blue paint on her fingers so we had to use a brush instead.
Either way, I think she's pretty proud of the finished product.

And on that note,

Happy Birthday babe!

Emerson and I are the luckiest girls in the world and we love you more than words could ever say!

Happy birthday to Jesse! She sure looks proud of her gift. And I miss summer already after seeing your pictures in the pool.

Emerson looks like she is having a blast with her little floaties! I haven't tried that for Gracie yet, and I guess it's too late this year. She doesn't even look like the same baby as she did last year, so crazy! She is still so beautiful though! I am glad you are loving the bible study. Beth Moore studies always seem to have a ton of homework. I have skipped the last 2 weeks of the one I'm in right now, I feel awful, it's just so hard to get to on Sunday nights at 6PM!

I deleted the comment when it was emailed to me but yes, my birthday is the 27th! And, I might add that I LOVE Emerson's little neck rolls. Georgia has them too and I could just eat them up!

Oh girl, I totally hear you on barely being able to remember them being smaller. I was saying the other day it's weird to think about Callyn not being mobile and not walking...and shes only been walking for 2 months haha! Time needs to slow down :) Love those pics of Emerson-SUCH a cute cute girl!
