Unfortunately, I have already failed at my 100 days of blogging challenge. I'm such a slacker! I don't know why I keep setting myself up for failure. ;) Oh well... you win some, you lose some.

Anyway- I've got a few good posts in the works but until then here are a few miscellaneous thoughts...

-My dear friend Mandy is heading home today. We have had the best time and our girls have just loved playing together. I have a whole post full of pictures coming up this week, but here's a little sneak peak. Melt.my.heart.

-Does anyone else want to cry when your baby gets hurt? A few days ago Emerson was rocking on her little rocking horse and I was sitting next to her drinking my Green Monster out of a plastic cup with a straw. All of the sudden E decided she wanted down and she started leaning towards me. Before I could catch her she fell off and my straw scraped the whole side of her face. It left a bright red scratch on her pretty little face. I felt so bad.
-I'm so excited for E to see her first fireworks this year! Since she was a tiny thing on the 4th last year, we didn't take her anywhere. This year we will be watching fireworks out on the lake. Yay! I just hope she's not scared.

-We sure are missing Jesse. I hate that we have to be away from him but we are loving our time here with my family. I know Emerson will be one happy girl when she sees her Daddy again. Every day when we are on Face Time she leans over and kisses the screen over and over. That girl LOVES her Daddy.
-Speaking of Miss E- she has decided that she WILL NOT wear bows anymore. Every time I put one on she immediately rips it off and hands it to me. It's breaking this Momma's heart.

-I have been a real slacker and have not exercised a single time since I've been here. So much for my routine. Boo! :( One of my goals was to run a half-marathon before the end of the year. If that's the case I better get in gear ASAP.

-I feel like this summer is flying by. I swear it will be Christmas before we know it...

Happy Monday friends!

I haven't cried myself yet, but that's not to say I won't. I sure feel awful enough when Chloe hurts herself, I hate seeing her in physical pain. :( We are excited for the 4th too. I just hope the displays aren't cancelled due to the lack of rain here. I love little ones who are daddies girls; there is nothing sweeter.

Emerson lasted a lot longer than Payton with her bows! I have tons that Payton never wore because a few months ago she started pulling her headbands out. Now all I can put in are tiny clips..which are still cute.

You know what? I don't think I realized that Jesse wasn't there with you! That is so sad, but I am sure you are having a great time! It will make the reunion that much sweeter :)

I try so hard to not freak out when Vince gets hurt. But I am sure i would cry with that!!! And that a a bummer about the bows!! I loved always seeing her in giant bows!!!

The picture of her and her daddy is priceless. She looks like she is dancing!

If you keep putting the bows back on she'll learn to leave it on. It worked with my little girl who still wears bows at age 4!! I'm not ready to give that up!! And yes I always wanna cry and sometimes do when my babies get hurt!
