If You Were My BFF...

7.12.2012

I've seen this on a few blogs lately so I thought I'd play along.

If you were my BFF you'd know that...

- I love scary movies. But I will only watch them when Jesse is home and I hide my face behind my hands during all of the scary parts.

-I absolutely LOVE sour candy and I'd choose it over chocolate any day. My favorite are Sour Punch straws and sour gummy worms.

-My first car was a 1994 Geo Prizm. We called it "The Geo" and we sold it for 700 bucks less than a year after we got married.

-When I was younger I wasn't always sure I wanted kids but now that I have Emerson I am 100 percent sure that being a Mom is the most important thing I will ever do! Nothing has ever felt so right to me.

- I have amazing parents and grandparents. Even though we live far away I know that I can always count on them.

-I love looking at houses and one of my favorite shows is House Hunters on HGTV.

- I wish my degrees were in something other than education. I would love to be a school counselor or speech/language pathologist.

- I did competitive figure skating (on roller skates) as a kid. I wasn't ever really good but I sure loved doing it.

-I second guess myself a lot. Sometimes after a conversation with someone I will replay it in my head to make sure I didn't say anything dumb.

-In high school I was on the debate team and a JV cheerleader. I quit cheerleading after my sophomore year and never missed it a bit!

-Sometimes I have to remind myself not to compare myself or my life to others. Even though I have everything I have ever wanted and I am the luckiest girl in the world, sometimes the green-eyed monster sneaks its way in!
-When it comes to working out and being healthy I'm an all or nothing gal. I'm either obsessed and working out like a mad woman and eating great 99 percent of the time or I'm being a lazy bum and eating everything in sight. Not good at all!

-I don't really have any special talents. I wish I did but I don't.

-One of my favorite things about my marriage to Jesse is that we laugh all the time. He's the funniest person I know!

- I spend way too much time on the internet. Sometimes I think my brain is turning to mush... ;)

Oh you gotta love our old cars! I ended up donating mine to a foundation here. I know I second guess conversations in my head all the time! Thanks for sharing your list---enjoy getting to know you better!

Where do I start...1. I feel the same way about my hubs. I asked him the other night if he thought most couples had as much fun as we did doing absolutely nothing. 2. I figure skated for 10 years but on ice. 3. I over analyze so many conversations after I have them, it's ridiculous!

Oh and with working out and being healthy... totally me and Kirby too. It's horrible. I just want to be in the middle sometimes!

I ALWAYS replay conversations in my head afterwards in hope I didn't say anything dumb. 9 times out of 10, I think I did. :S

I thought i would end up adopting my kids, because I was scared of the delivery part. You are so right that being a parent is the most important thing I will do! Great post!
