Fitness Friday Week 8 (On Saturday)

How did I do this week?
My goal this week was to do 3 sets of 60 second planks. I'm going to be completely honest and tell you that I didn't even attempt this goal. I know, I know... total SLACKER! :) I did do some planks during my regular workouts but that was about it. So, I'm adding this goal to my other goal for next week. I did track everything in MFP this week but I took Friday off. Fridays are hard for me because we are usually on the go and we often go out to eat. It's probably my worst day of the week when it comes to eating! I'm going with the notion that if I eat fairly healthy throughout the rest of the week that my Friday splurges won't hurt me in the long run. :)

Workouts this week:
 I only worked out 3 times this week but they were pretty good workouts so I'm okay with it.  It was actually a struggle to even get these workouts in because Jesse wasn't home in the evenings to watch E so I had to try to squeeze them in during nap time. Next week should be better because Jesse will be back on a normal schedule and I can workout when he gets home. I didn't start the Brazil Butt Lift that I talked about on Monday but I'm hoping to at least try it this next week. :)

Sunday- Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 1
Thursday- Home Bootcamp
Friday- 3.5 mile run - I struggled during this run! For some reason I had the bright idea to run outside and I didn't realize how hot it was (96 degrees!) and I seriously wanted to pass out towards the end! I did stop and walk twice during that last half mile. I am definitely hitting a mental block when it comes to anything past 3 miles- I don't know why but I hope I can get past it soon.

Weight Loss: 1 pound! I was pretty excited about this considering how horribly I ate last weekend! I keep telling myself that maybe that's a sign that I need to up my calories a little bit. :)That puts me at a total loss of 6 pounds since starting the challenge and 1 pound away from my goal weight. Yay! 

Goal for this week: Complete the No Junk Food Challenge


I will probably still add peanut butter to my Green Monsters when I have them, but other than that I'll *try* to stick to this.  
I'm also going to try the plank challenge from last week.

You did really good, and nobody likes planks so don't give yourself a hard time! I really wanted to join in on Fitness Friday this week {but start at week 1} but I did so awful I was too embarrassed to post it, haha

Only 1 more pound... that's awesome! I wish you luck on the "no junk food" challenge. THat sounds too hard ;)
