Fitness Friday Week 5

How did I do this week?
My goal this week was to complete three workouts from Pinterest. I chose this goal because I think it's really important to mix up your workouts to keep from getting bored. I completed this goal and I was happy with the workouts I chose. I'll definitely be turning to Pinterest more often- especially when I'm looking for a quick workout. (I've linked the ones I've completed below.) I'm still loving using My Fitness Pal to log my food and workouts. It really helps me stay accountable. That being said, I had two "cheat days" on Thursday and Friday and didn't log a single thing I ate. We were out and about a lot and I will admit I ate some major junk. Papa John's pizza anyone? :) I did fit in workouts on both of those days though so I didn't feel too bad.

Workouts:
Tuesday- 3 Mile Run, Insanity Fast and Furious
Wednesday- The Firm Complete Aerobics and Weight Training
Thursday- My Home Boot Camp, Lean Arms Pyramid
Friday- 2 mile run, 20 minutes on stairclimber and elliptical, Pop Pilates Hot Abs Workout

Weight Loss: 
One pound down! Only 2 more to go to get to my goal weight. At this point I am really trying to not focus as much on my weight though and instead trying to focus on continuing to work out consistently and eat healthy. My goal is to be fit and healthy and I'm trying to remind myself that the number on the scale doesn't necessarily gauge that. :)

Goal for Next Week:
Eat at least 5 servings of fruits/veggies every day. This is something I really need to work on so I'm glad I chose this goal. I do try to eat fruit for snacks and I usually get at least 2 servings of veggies a day, but I need to do even better. Even though I stay within my calorie goal most days, I'm not always eating the best foods. I've become addicted to this tomato soup from a packet. It's really good and it is low in calories but it's really not good for you because it's loaded with sodium and doesn't have any veggies in it. So I'm on the hunt for a good tomato soup recipe and minestrone recipe so that I can eat those at lunch every day instead of the cup-a-soup packets I've been eating.

I'm terrible at eating veggies. If I'm lucky if get one serving of vegges a day. I'm just not a big fan of them. I was thinking about investing in a juicer because that's an easy way to get them in.

Go, you! You are so awesome! You should feel totally proud for getting all those workouts in. Have you still been drinking the green smoothies? Just curious.
