Show Us Your Life- My Book List

4.15.2011

Happy Friday everyone! I’m joining up with Kelly for Show Us Your Life today. The topic is: what’s on your book list. I love to read so this is the perfect topic for me.

One of 101 in 1001 goals is to read 50 books- so far I’ve read 41. It looks like I’ll definitely reach my goal. Here’s the the list of books that I’ve read since August.

(On a sort-of unrelated note- all of the books listed in red are available for loan so if you have a Kindle and want to borrow one of these books send me an email. I’d love to start swapping books with other Kindle owners!)

I’m currently reading The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly. I’ve seen the previews for the movie and it looks really good so I thought I’d read the book. I’m about 75 percent done and so far it’s a great read. I definitely recommend it.

The next book on my list is Emily and Einstein by Linda Francis Lee. I’m a sucker for any books that have dogs as characters so this one immediately caught my eye. I can’t wait to read it!

And of course, I have to share some of my all time favorite books.

The first, which I’ve mentioned before, is The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. It’s another dog book (told from the dog’s point of view) and it is one of the BEST books. If you haven’t read it you HAVE to add it to your list!

I also  loved My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult. I haven’t seen the movie but I’ve heard that it ends totally differently than the book. I’ve read several of Jodi Picoult’s books and I’ve loved all of them. She is definitely one of my favorite authors.

There are so many other books that I absolutely love, but I don’t want this post to go on forever and ever. Smile But now that I’ve share my favorites, do tell: what’s on your reading list? I’m always looking for ideas!

You will LOVE The Art of Racing in the Rain! It was really good. I've never heard of that other dog one, but I'll have to look into it! I love your new header. It looks really great!
