Shop 'Til You Drop

1.23.2011

Our 2nd day in Cape Town was spent exploring the awesome mall I mentioned earlier and the Victoria and Alfred waterfront.

We started off at the mall- like I said before, it was huge- so there was plenty to see and do (and eat) :) I didn't buy a lot for myself because a.)I didn't like a lot of their clothes. b.) some of the prices were insane and c.) nothing really fits me right now. :)
They did have one tiny maternity store but it had the ugliest clothes I have ever seen. Not to worry though, I got my shopping fix by buying a few things for Emerson.

When we had our fill of the mall, we headed to the beautiful V&A Waterfront. We started off on the ferris wheel so that we could get a good view...

And then we walked around and took in the beautiful sights.

After strolling the waterfront, I had to check out the shopping center. I was surprised to see Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Gucci. Unfortunately, I was only window shopping and didn't buy anything. A girl can dream though!

As you can see, our first two days in Cape Town were pretty laid back. We enjoyed them but the real fun began on the third day! Check back tomorrow to read about our adventures with a "man-eater!" :)
